Hi, I'm Mark from Hersham. Have been following Ian R Crane for some while and more recently John Kitson. If there was a gathering of like minded 5g folks in Surrey I would love to meet up. I have tried to petition Elmbridge council and Surrey county Council, both of whom will not allow me to organise a petition, each saying that the other is responsible.!!! Also trying to meet with my local councilors in Elmbridge where I have had some email dialogue so far, but no meeting as yet. Quote from my local Councilor "The government are being paid millions of pounds to roll out 5g by Huawei and we are powerless to stop it"!.
Please let me know if any nmeet ups are planned.
I'm Anna from Norfolk. I've sent FOI requests to the local and district council and have been told that they have yet to decide on their position re 5G (the led lights issue is just a referral to the supplier spec).
Nothing from Richard Bacon MP of course, and I've never been able to arrange a meeting because I was too truthful and told his secretary what the subject matter was! I could lie and say it was about litter but then I suspect he'd refuse to speak/defer when questioned on 5G.
If anyone is my area, please let me know as it's vital to set up a local group and raise awareness. Thank you!
Hi Anna, how did you submit your FOIA request? I sent one to my local authority via email but was basically fobbed off. I have since learned that the best way to submit them is via the 'theyworkforyou' website so that your request and their response are on a public forum for all to see (which might prompt them to be more forthcoming). Good luck with yours.
Thanks so much for that. I did send emails to all the various tiers of the council via their contact details rather than using the 'theyworkforyou' ( 🤫 ) website. Good idea!
I'll have another go via there and see how I get on. I'm also going to write to all my candidates tomorrow as it seems a good time to get a response!
Hope you're having some luck with your 'representatives'!
Thanks, good luck and best wishes,
